Happy Soul Soap was born from love, loss, and the healing power of creating something beautiful.

In November of 2021, I lost my extraordinary mom. She was my anchor, and losing her was the most devastating experience of my life. Grief swept in and left me overwhelmed, ungrounded, and unsure how to move forward.

One day, while mindlessly doom-scrolling on TikTok, I stumbled across handmade soap makers creating the most gorgeous bars—full of color, artistry, and fragrance. Something in me lit up. I became instantly obsessed and started researching how to make soap myself.

The first time I blended oils, poured a mold, and cut that initial bar… something shifted. Soap making became my therapy. It brought creativity, joy, and purpose back into my life in a way I never expected. What started as a lifeline slowly became a passion—and then a calling.

A Family-Created Labor of Love

As the soaps grew more beautiful, more aromatic, and more luxurious, my family joined me in the process. My husband, Bob, fell in love with fragrances and quickly became the “Chief Candle Maker,” sniff-testing scent combinations like fine wines. My boys jumped in too—helping with designs, brainstorming names (and definitely rejecting a few!), labeling, packing, and shipping.

Happy Soul Soap isn’t just a business. It’s a family project born from healing and carried by love.

From the beginning, quality has been my non-negotiable. Each bar is handcrafted in small batches using premium oils and butters like coconut, olive, avocado, and shea. These ingredients create a rich, velvety lather that cleanses gently and deeply nourishes the skin.

If an ingredient doesn’t hydrate, soothe, or elevate the experience, it doesn’t go in. Every bar is a blend of skin-loving oils,natural clays, botanicals, or exfoliants—carefully chosen to create a soap that feels indulgent from the first use to the last sliver.
